Job summary

Les Olson Company in Las Vegas is seeking an Engineer 3 to join our Managed IT Services team. You will be a senior technical resource, designing and implementing complex on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT solutions while driving automation and operational improvements.

The role emphasizes Tier 3 escalation and systemic problem identification to reduce risk and improve outcomes. You will mentor junior engineers, lead infrastructure modernization projects, and collaborate with Security, Operations,

Qualifications

8+ years of IT experience with infrastructure, cloud, and systems engineering.
Strong customer-facing consulting and communication skills.
Experience designing on-presence, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Experience leading complex technical projects and mentoring engineers.
Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and scalable solutions.
Knowledge of security best practices and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex IT environments across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid.
Manage Windows Server environments and AD/Entra ID including hybrid identity.
Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Design, deploy, and maintain virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and Azure infra.
Implement enterprise storage, backup, DR, and BC solutions.
TROUBLESHOOT advanced networking and security topics; Tier 3 escalation.
Develop automation using PowerShell and other platforms; mentor engineers.
