Job summary

Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Senior Technical Analyst to deliver service and project outcomes in a global infrastructure setting. The role requires independent problem solving and SME-level guidance across multiple technology domains.

The candidate will support DBA, server, data and voice networks, storage, and application platforms, gather requirements, and implement solutions while mentoring teammates. A BS in CS/IS and 5+ years IT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Information Technology, or in a related area.
• Relevant industry related certifications.
• Information Technology experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to effectively communicate.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing medium to high complexity maintenance, RTB support, and Incident Service Requests of the assigned global infrastructure area.
• Provide solutions for both RTB and project efforts of medium to high complexity.
• Serve as a project resource on application and infrastructure project efforts representing functional capabilities.
• Assist with gathering requirements, creating recommendations, and implementing solutions to meet the project requirements.
• Provide knowledge sharing, as SME, in writing complex knowledge articles and mentoring other IT staff.
