Job summary

Oshkosh Defense, a leading defense technology company, seeks an experienced IT systems engineer to plan, design, and execute enterprise software upgrades across critical systems. You will coordinate with Oracle/SQL DBAs, implement patching, and ensure security compliance while leading change management per ITIL principles.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in IT systems engineering, integration, or related fields.
Experience with ITSM processes, incident/changes management, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
Strong communication skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams, and document technical designs.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute enterprise-level software upgrades across business-critical systems.
Coordinate with Oracle and SQL DBAs; ensure security compliance and system stability.
Lead change management activities following ITIL practices to minimize business disruption.
Provide SME guidance, develop test plans, and support production deployments.
