Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking an OT Infrastructure Specialist to ensure reliable field connectivity for mobile equipment, data vans, and remote sites. You will install and maintain routers, switches, wireless, satellite, and point-to-point links, and support OT operations.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, cybersecurity awareness, and documentation discipline, with on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT/OT infrastructure, networking, or field systems support.
• Experience in oil and gas service industry or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong networking fundamentals (IP, DHCP, routing, switching, ports).
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux; industrial protocols like TCP/IP, Modbus, MQTT a plus.
• Ability to work independently in demanding field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain OT communications infrastructure across field sites.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and minimize downtime for operations.
• Manage IP addressing, DHCP, port configuration, and firmware updates.
• Support inventory, provisioning, and deployment readiness of equipment.
• Document configurations, incidents, and resolution steps for compliance.
