Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide engineering support to Field Engineering and Information Systems teams. You will monitor, provision, and maintain networked computers and servers across gaming and nongaming environments, while mentoring field engineers and coordinating with vendors for complex troubleshooting.

You will support audio/lighting systems for live events, manage security and disaster recovery tasks, and ensure high availability of critical IT assets

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate in CS preferred.
• Five (5) years IT support or related experience in large-scale infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with Windows server environments, AD, and network hardware in a resort/casino setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Field Engineering and IS teams; monitor and maintain networked systems.
• Lead and mentor Field Engineers; provide advanced incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot network hardware, VoIP, and lighting/control systems for events.
• Coordinate with vendors for remote access, escalations, and resolutions; ensure proper disconnect after support.
• Maintain security, safety, and disaster recovery processes; document actions and reports.
• Install, upgrade, and optimize network and IT infrastructure in data centers and back-of-house areas.
• Support marketing media content delivery systems and digital signage.
