Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join the IS Network team in Columbus, Ohio. The role spans network, data center, security, and telecom domains, focusing on operations, strategy, and supplier management.

You will collaborate with architects, applications teams, and vendors to plan, implement, and operate technology solutions that support clinical and business operations. A Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required; 8+ years technical engineering experience with process improvement or project work.
Strong knowledge of IT technologies across endpoints, servers, security, network, storage, and telecom.
Ability to design and document complex systems with focus on scalability and performance.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

40% - Operations: coordinate with customers and vendors; manage ITIL processes like change and release management.
20% - Technology Strategy: help develop roadmaps and standards for infrastructure technologies.
10% - Research and Analysis: plan and optimize initiatives including cost, TCO, and efficiency.
25% - Supplier Management: oversee vendors and provide dashboards and status reporting.
5% - Financial Management: plan and monitor operating and capital budgets.
