Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Lead IT Engineer to provide strategic oversight across the organization’s infrastructure, including servers, cloud, networking, storage, telephony, and endpoint management. You will ensure GMP/21 CFR Part 11 compliance, architect scalable solutions, and guide major IT projects with a focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated GMP/21 CFR Part 11 environments.
• 5–8+ years in progressive IT infrastructure roles with leadership.
• Ability to work on-site in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as final escalation point for infrastructure issues with SLA adherence.
• Lead architecture and roadmaps for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Oversee patching, release, change management, and ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with OT, lab systems, and strategic partners for best practices.
• Develop dashboards and reports for senior management.
