Job summary

Blockchain is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join its Operations team in Dallas. You will provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIPs, uphold security best practices, and manage hardware, software, and SaaS platforms.

You will deploy policies via Apple Business Manager, configure Meraki, support AV systems, coordinate device logistics globally, and assist with AI tools adoption. A strong background in macOS, Google Workspace, Jamf, MDM, and vendor management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to all employees including VIP and C-suite.
• Ensure security best practices and train employees accordingly.
• Manage hardware/software provisioning for a global workforce using MDM/ABM.
• Onboard/offboard users and re-provision accounts efficiently.
• Support setup/management of infrastructure and office builds.
• Administer core SaaS platforms (Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager).
• Support AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and guidance on adoption.
• Manage office networks, AV systems, and video conferencing hardware.
• Coordinate laptop logistics for hires/leavers and shipments with carriers.
• Configure network infrastructure (Meraki switches, APs, firewalls).
• Vendor/ISP management including Verizon or similar.

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our Operations team based in Dallas.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide comprehensive and timely IT support to all employees, including VIP andC-suite executives, delivering white-glove service with professionalism and discretion
• Exercise security best practices and monitor and train employees to do the same
• Maintain and provision employee hardware and software for a global workforce,leveraging Apple Business Manager and MDM platforms to deploy policies, pushupdates, and apply patch fixes at scale
• Perform onboarding, offboarding, and re-provisioning procedures efficiently andsecurely
• Support the setup and management of new and existing infrastructure, includingoffice builds and fit-outs from the ground up
• Manage and administer core SaaS platforms at an admin level, including Slack, Jira,Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, and Apple Business Manager; additionalexperience with Microsoft 365, Adobe, and DocuSign is a plus
• Support employees with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and similar) andhandling queries, troubleshooting, and providing admin-level guidance to help teamsget the most out of AI in their workflows
• Manage office LANs, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing systems, with hands-onexperience supporting AV hardware (Logitech, Owl) and platforms (Google Meet,
• Zoom)
• Manage laptop logistics for new hires and leavers, including coordinating shipmentsand collections through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or Retriever to ensureseamless device delivery and retrieval globally
• Configure and manage network infrastructure including Meraki switches, accesspoints, and firewalls
• Handle vendor management and ISP engagement (experience with Verizon or otherISPs is a bonus), ensuring reliable and cost-effective service delivery
• Support the operations team across all projects including internal events, externalevents, and office moves
• Support employees potentially out of hours

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems engineering, with a track record ofoperating independently and thriving under pressure in fast-paced environments
• A high degree of security awareness and current knowledge of best practices
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment with ever-changing and competing demands
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing, and firewalls; hands-on experiencewith Meraki or similar enterprise networking platforms
• Superb problem-solving abilities with a calm, methodical approach to complexincidents
• Confident, outgoing, and whatever-it-takes attitude with the ability to workindependently and take full ownership of projects
• Previous startup or scale-up experience with the ability to manage multiple projectsacross varying timelines and priorities
• Strong proficiency in macOS and Google Workspace administration (essential)
• Experience with Jamf or equivalent MDM platforms at an admin level, includingcreating and managing policies, pushing updates, and deploying patch fixes; RipplingMDM experience is a bonus
• Experience with AV systems and video conferencing hardware (Logitech, Owl) andsoftware (Google Meet, Zoom)
• Admin-level experience across core SaaS tools: Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password,
• Google Workspace, and Apple Business Manager; Microsoft 365, Adobe, and
• DocuSign experience is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, and comfort supporting users atan admin level with queries and adoption
• Experience with office moves, builds
• Vendor management experience, including ISP engagement (Verizon or similar is abonus)
• VIP and C-suite support experience, with the professionalism and discretion thatcomes with it
• A genuine enthusiasm for being in the office and being a visible, go-to presence forthe team.
