Job summary

WattBridge is seeking a Senior Director, Information Technology, to develop, implement, and own IT, cybersecurity and data strategy for a data‑center focused platform. You will lead an independent IT function post-TSA, stand up a cloud-native platform within 12 months, and run it with a small team and MSPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• 15+ years IT experience with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading IT carve-out or divestiture.
• Hands-on with transitioning services agreements.
• Strong cybersecurity program leadership, including OT/ICS security.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud ecosystem (365, Entra, Intune, Defender, Azure).
• Experience with vendor management and MSP/MDR/SOC providers.
• Familiarity with NERC CIP and critical infrastructure regulatory needs.
• Experience with ERP, HRIS and document management platforms.
• Fluent English, strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead TSA IT and cybersecurity workstreams and coordinate with counterparts.
• Deliver TSA exit milestones within a 12‑month term.
• Build and operate a cloud-native platform and governance model.
• Define technology strategy and a data‑driven roadmap.
• Oversee MDR/SOC vendors, endpoint security, and risk programs.
• Ensure OT/ICS security across generation assets and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, reporting to execs, and program status to the board.
• Hire and develop IT staff while leveraging outsourced services.
• Embed AI capabilities and enterprise data foundations (Power BI).
• Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, Development, and HR for system deployment.
