Job summary

Waylin Partners, LLC is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead internal IT, security, and operations for a fully remote firm. You will own the technology environment, establish governance, and partner with leadership to scale systems and security practices.

You will manage MSPs and vendors, drive onboarding/offboarding processes, and shape a roadmap that enables growth while protecting client data and compliance posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 6+ years in IT/IT operations, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Teams, Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Own internal IT environment including hardware, software, identity management, endpoints, networking, and cloud systems.
• Oversee device lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding and procurement.
• Manage MSPs and third-party vendors and maintain security controls.
• Develop scalable IT policies, documentation, and security standards.
• Guide technology roadmap to support growth and regulatory needs.
