Job summary

RFG Advisory is seeking a Senior Director of IT and Cybersecurity to own the firm’s security, architecture, and AI integrations. The role blends senior technical judgment with hands-on execution and team leadership to keep infrastructure, cybersecurity, and helpdesk operating in harmony.

You will lead security strategy, oversee AI tool governance, and drive platform upgrades across corporate technology. Hybrid work in Birmingham, AL or remote with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible technology leadership experience across infrastructure, security and corporate tech.
• Proven track record defining and executing cybersecurity strategy in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying AI integrations in production.
• Experience leading multi-functional tech teams including infrastructure, security, and helpdesk.
• Background in financial services or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and driving SLA delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity strategy, posture across infrastructure, endpoints, identity, and AI tools.
• Set security standards and guardrails for AI data handling and access.
• Lead incident response and interact with auditors/regulators as needed.
• Architect secure AI integrations and scalable platform designs.
• Drive adoption of ZohoOne, RingCentral, Zoom, and AI tools while reducing manual work.
• Lead and develop the Director of Infrastructure and Systems Administrator teams.
• Coach the team to operate as a coordinated function with clear ownership.
