Job summary

Entergy's River Bend Nuclear Station hosts an Operational Information Technology (OIT) team focused on cyber security systems. The role encompasses managing stand-alone security lifecycle duties from operation to upgrades, including on-call rotations.

The candidate must live within 60 minutes of the plant and support both cyber security and IT operations. Daily work covers systems administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–4 years experience in hardware/software/network setup.
• DCS/SCADA or centralized monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware, software, databases, networks, inventories, and vendor support agreements.
• Troubleshoot legacy and modern computer systems, networks, interfaces, and security controls.
• Plan and execute upgrades, updates, database changes, and system life cycle improvements.
• Develop scripts, interfaces, reports, and client tools to meet operational needs.
• Review engineering changes and support cross-functional troubleshooting.
