Florida Blue is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions across functional domains. The role leads complex multi-year projects, defining objectives, gathering requirements, and shaping system design with developers and architects.

Responsibilities include leading requirements, acceptance testing, training, and production support while mentoring other analysts. Hybrid work is supported with emphasis on collaboration and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applications development and/or systems analysis
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and architectures
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in requirements gathering and SDLC methodologies
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with agile development environments

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and testing of highly complex projects
• Drive business architecture design and capability roadmap for the domain
• Facilitate requirements gathering and determine technical impacts
• Act as design lead with developers and architects to shape system design
• Possibly serve as product owner when needed
• Produce system documentation and provide training
• Communicate technical issues clearly to business units
• Develop detailed functional requirements and test criteria
• Oversee user acceptance testing and sign-off on changes
• Ensure operational readiness and production support for implemented solutions
