Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Principal, IT Business Systems Analyst for Contact Lens R&D in Johns Creek, GA. You will shape IT systems design, translate scientific needs into IT solutions, and collaborate with global teams to align with enterprise standards.

You will gather requirements, analyze workflows, and support lab platforms like LabVantage and Waters Empower, while promoting AI use cases and digital enablement within R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, life sciences, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of IT Business Systems Analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage (multi-module) and Waters Empower.
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.
• Experience in pharma, medical devices, or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as IT liaison for Contact Lens R&D teams at Johns Creek.
• Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions.
• Support lab platforms and lifecycle management with enterprise standards.
• Promote AI and digital capabilities within R&D and align with data platforms.
• Coordinate with global IT teams to ensure standards and architecture alignment.
• Provide day-to-day support and drive continuous improvement across sites.
