Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Equipment Engineering, to lead the contact lens manufacturing equipment engineering organization at the Johns Creek facility. You will shape strategy, drive reliability and lifecycle management, and partner with global teams to deliver manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities include capital projects, automation, and governance while developing leaders and aligning with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of demonstrated leadership.
• Location: onsite and travel up to 10%.
• Relocation assistance is provided; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the equipment engineering organization for contact lens manufacturing.
• Drive reliability, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Product Engineering and global teams.
• Develop and execute equipment strategies to improve safety, quality, and cost performance.
