Job summary
BioCryst Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Director, IT Business - Partner Pharmaceutical Development to build strategic technology partnerships across Development. You will translate business priorities into roadmaps for Veeva RIM/CTMS, ReadCube, and Oracle Argus, ensuring compliant, scalable solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
This is an individual contributor role guiding MSPs and vendors, focusing on governance, data integrity, validation, and change control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, business, life sciences.
- 8–10 years delivering and managing IT in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
- Experience as IT Business Partner, product owner, or program manager.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT Business Partner for Development functions.
- Translate priorities into multi-year roadmaps and business cases.
- Lead requirements, solution evaluation, and delivery of Development technology initiatives.
- Partner on platform optimization (Veeva RIM/CTMS, ReadCube, Oracle Argus).
- Oversee validation, data integrity, security, change control, and records management.
- Drive adoption, change management, and vendor management across projects.
