Job summary

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Director, IT Business - Partner Pharmaceutical Development to strategize and align technology with Development needs across Clinical Ops, Biometrics, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs.

The role requires strong governance, vendor management, and platform knowledge (Veeva RIM/CTMS, ReadCube, Oracle Argus) and can be remote on the East Coast with a Boston preference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, life sciences, or related field and related experience.
• 8–10 years of progressive IT experience in pharma/biotech or life sciences.
• Experience as IT Business Partner, product owner, or program manager supporting Development/R&D.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT Business Partner for Development functions and medical affairs.
• Translate business priorities into multi-year technology roadmaps and roadmaps.
• Lead requirements definition, vendor management, and adoption of Development tech.
• Ensure regulated GxP systems meet validation, data integrity, and security standards.
• Oversee system lifecycle activities and cross-functional programs across Development partners.
