Job summary

Capio Group, a California-based IT consulting firm serving the public sector since 2010, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to enhance client systems through a centralized database solution. This full-time role offers a remote work arrangement and a salary range of $120,000–$130,000.

Excellent candidates will define business requirements, conduct gap analyses, support CDT PAL stages 2–4, and collaborate across multi-vendor environments to improve licensing, compliance, and reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applying analytical processes on IT projects (FTE) within the last 10 years.
• 3+ years in business systems analysis and design within the last 10 years.
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree copy upon request.
• CBAP certification required (IIBA) and may not be substituted.
• 2+ years supporting CDT PAL Stage 2–4 projects and large system implementations in the last 10 years.
• 2+ years preparing documentation for CDT Stage Gate Reviews within the last 10 years.
• 1+ year with Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing/enforcement modules within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Define business requirements, both functional and technical.
• Perform system impact and gap analyses; recommend new solutions.
• Refine system requirements with stakeholder feedback.
• Evaluate technology options for replacements considering cost, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with client programs to streamline business processes.
• Develop epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create standard templates for complex IT systems to write precise requirements.
• Develop data conversion and migration plans; assist with risk registers and governance.
• Review PAL documentation with stakeholders and manage scope changes.
