Job summary

Axiom Path, Inc. seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to join the technology organization of a leading financial services institution in Charlotte.

The role focuses on bridging business objectives with technical execution, translating complex requirements into practical solutions to improve efficiency, workflows, and systems capabilities. The hybrid position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across process optimization and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Experience with business process analysis, workflow mapping, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
• Experience supporting software development projects using Agile methodologies and established SDLC practices.
• Proficiency with Excel, Visio, Jira or similar tools.
• Ability to coordinate testing activities, support UAT, and facilitate technology implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business objectives with technical execution and translate requirements into actionable specifications.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
• Evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements through automation or technology enhancements.
• Develop business requirements documents, functional specs, and process maps for technical teams.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support system implementation activities including UAT, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
• Create reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making.
• Facilitate communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
