Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join the Internal Audit Department. The role focuses on infrastructure, applications, and project audits within a technology-driven environment.

You will report to a Senior Manager and support the organization’s risk management, governance, and controls around IT operations and security programs. A strong background in IT auditing and relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of IT audit experience with increasing responsibility.
• Financial services and/or Big 4 accounting experience is a plus.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred; other certifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and execution of IT infrastructure internal audit assignments.
• Ensure work follows IIA standards and IAD policies.
• Draft audit deliverables, test design and execution, and document work papers.
• Track audit status, issue status, and budgets.
• Provide coaching and onboarding support to team members.
• Contribute to risk assessment and special projects as needed.
