Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation seeks a Senior IT Auditor to join the Corporate IAD. The role focuses on integrated audits of application controls, automated functionality and data integrity that support business processes.

Reporting to the Director or Senior Manager, you will plan and execute audits, identify issues, validate remediation, and mentor teammates in a hybrid work environment based in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing internal audits in a sophisticated regulatory environment.
• Ability to work as part of a project team with external co-sourcing and internal lines of business.
• Relevant certifications preferred; strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to articulate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution: plan and conduct internal audits per IIA standards and IAD policies.
• Issues Identification: draft audit observations for review with partners and management.
• Issue Management: validate remediation actions completed by the business.
• Risk Assessment: participate in annual risk assessment with partners.
• Coaching: mentor and support audit team members.
• Administration/Training: complete required firm-wide and departmental trainings.
• Special Projects: assist with operational improvement initiatives as needed.
