Job summary

Globe Life is seeking a Sr. IT Audit Manager for a hybrid role based in McKinney, TX. This position leads IT audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring risk-based controls and compliance across Globe Life Inc. and subsidiaries. You will mentor staff, manage audits, and promote strong governance.

The role requires 10+ years of audit leadership, IT controls expertise, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Hybrid work schedule includes WFH Monday/Friday and in-office Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CIS or MIS.
• 10+ years' experience at audit manager level.
• Significant experience leading, planning, executing, and reporting on audits.
• CISA and/or CISSP certification desired.
• Strong technical skills and audit techniques knowledge.
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of IT audit plan and audit strategy.
• Lead and perform pre and post reviews of system implementations and enhancements.
• Provide consultation on risk management and controls development.
• Define, execute, and manage complex IT audits to complete the annual plan.
• Evaluate internal controls for adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Manage SOX compliance review.
• Report observations with recommendations to improve operations and controls.
• Communicate audit issues to all levels timely.
• Perform special reviews on management requests.
• Identify risks and recommend controls; supervise staff auditors.
• Develop team by sharing knowledge and mentoring.
