Job summary

Simplot Company is seeking a Senior IT Internal Audit Manager based in Boise, Idaho. You will lead the in-house IT internal audit function, shaping strategy and driving risk-based auditing across technology, cybersecurity, data analytics, and governance programs.

You will collaborate with Technology and business leaders to develop audit plans, oversee execution from planning to reporting, and coach staff while staying current with emerging IT risk trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AIS, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT internal audit, IT risk, or IT assurance experience, with leadership roles.
• Experience evaluating IT infrastructure and cybersecurity controls.
• Strong communication skills translating complex concepts to executives.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, Python) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with stakeholders across Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and business groups.
• Lead development and execution of a risk-based IT audit plan aligned to strategy and emerging tech risks.
• Build and mature the in-house IT audit function and reporting templates.
• Manage IT audit from planning to reporting; evaluate ITGCs and controls; propose improvements.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently within deadlines.
• Coach staff on technology risk and audit techniques.
• Support external auditors and IT-related investigations.
