Job summary

mtb in the United States seeks a Senior Audit Manager to own the Audit Division's assurance product for the Technology Domain. You will guide risk-based prioritization of continuous monitoring across technology infrastructure, software engineering, and platform services, including cloud migration and emerging tech risks.

As a member of the Audit Senior Management Team, you will shape the department's strategic vision, engage stakeholders, and promote the Audit function within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT Audit teams and coordinating risk-based assurance work.
• Strong understanding of technology operations, risks, and controls across cloud, data centers, and modern tech stacks.
• Ability to develop strategic audit plans and influence senior technology management.

Responsibilities

• Own the Audit Plan for assigned areas of the Technology Domain and drive timely completion of audits.
• Lead scoping discussions, coordinate with Audit Directors, and monitor remediation progress.
• Drive adoption of data analytics across all phases of the audit process.
• Manage staff and co-sourced relationships to meet fieldwork deadlines with rational extensions when needed.
