Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager to support SOX testing for client engagements. Remote role with responsibilities to plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure SOX compliance.

The role requires strong documentation, risk assessment, and remediation support, with certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA preferred. W2 hourly rate offered.

Qualifications

• Recent SOX ITGC testing experience at senior associate or manager level.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks.
• ERP environments and financial reporting applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing using established methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and project stakeholders on timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
