Qualifications

• Possession of a CPA certificate or CISA certificate.
• Four years of relevant professional experience as an Audit Team Leader on at least two engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex IT audits at State agencies and local governmental units.
• Prepare audit plans and programs, coordinate audit team work.
• Prepare reports recommending improvements in controls and systems.

Skills

Knowledge of accounting, auditing, and relevant professional standards

Knowledge of information technology system requirements

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data

Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

Ability to supervise people

Education

CPA certificate accepted by the Florida State Board of Accountancy

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or related field
