Job summary

Civicworks in Tallahassee, FL seeks an IT Auditor to participate in audits, analysis, and testing of IT controls across all computing environments, including physical, OS, database, network, and applications at state agencies, educational entities, and local governments.

The role assists in evaluating IT systems and internal controls, monitoring critical IT projects, and preparing reports with recommendations to improve information systems and management controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with 30+ semester hours beyond baccalaureate or equivalent experience, or Master's degree in MIS with IT emphasis.
• Knowledge of accounting, auditing, IT system requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Skill in use of personal computers and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to work as a team member, maintain objectivity, and handle confidential information.
