Job summary

The State of Maryland’s Audit Finance and Compliance Unit seeks an IT Audit Compliance Manager in Annapolis to direct multiple analysts and oversee statewide IT audit corrective actions. You will guide actions, ensure proper documentation, and interact with agency staff to keep corrective actions in focus.

This is a management service role serving at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of auditing experience, strong IT controls expertise, SOC audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, AIS or related field.
• Seven (7) years of professional auditing experience including IT audits.
• Experience supervising staff and managing multiple audits.

Responsibilities

• Review audit reports and monitor agencies' corrective actions for IT findings.
• Assess adequacy of agency plans to resolve IT audit findings.
• Report status to AFCU Deputy Director on monitoring activities.
• Provide guidance to IT audit compliance analysts in meetings.
• Develop standard procedures for IT audit compliance processes.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise analyst activities.
