Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Lead Product Support Manager in the San Antonio, TX area to oversee the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets that support the DoW Defensive Cyber enterprise.

You will manage end‑to‑end procurement, centralized inventory tracking, and digital supply chain logistics for physical assets (servers, storage, network gear) and for licenses, cloud services, and certificates, establishing a centralized SAM framework and ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8–10 years lifecycle product support; 5+ years hardware/software license management; 3+ years in DoW logistics or asset management preferred.
Location: San Antonio Region, TX highly preferred but flexible, making this role suited to a hybrid or remote

Responsibilities

Oversee the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets supporting the DoW Defensive Cyber enterprise.
Manage end‑to‑end procurement, centralized inventory tracking, and digital supply chain logistics for servers, storage, network equipment, licenses, cloud subscriptions, and digital certificates.
Establish and maintain a centralized software asset management (SAM) framework and ensure continuous license compliance with vendor agreements.
Coordinate hand‑off/hand‑over of procured hardware assets to Government and Government‑designated contractors for installation, configuration, and platform engineering.
