Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking an IT Asset Management Senior Specialist to oversee enterprise-wide lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost optimization across the organization.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to implement strategic asset management initiatives. Responsibilities include managing hardware, software, and cloud inventories, supporting vendor audits, and developing governance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant job related experience for Senior level.
• Experience in IT Asset Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Desktop Software Requests, Software On-Boarding Requests, Software Acquisition, and Integration onboarding.
• Manage and maintain hardware, software, and cloud asset inventories.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through asset reclamation and optimization.
• Support vendor audits with accurate asset, license, and entitlement information.
• Develop and maintain asset management policies and procedures.
• Track software assets and provide compliance reporting.
• Reconcile asset records and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Manage software entitlement records for refresh and upgrades.
• Evaluate inventories to redeploy or retire assets cost-effectively.
• Monitor asset management tools and maintain process documentation.
