Job summary

WSS Associates in New York City seeks a Technology Asset Manager to own the asset lifecycle—from planning and procurement to disposal—and to align asset management with the firm’s IT strategy and governance.

You will maintain hardware/software inventories, drive procurement, manage data analytics on license usage, and partner with Security, Infrastructure and Vendor Management to inform investments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technology assets and inventories.
• Ability to analyze asset data and optimize license utilization.
• Proven procurement experience and supplier coordination.
• Advanced Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across org levels.
• Ability to drive process improvements and collaborate with IT teams.
• Familiarity with ITAM tools and asset lifecycle governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware and software asset records from acquisition to disposal.
• Oversee procurement for technology assets and track lead times and deliveries.
• Manage asset lifecycle, deployment, support, and retirement procedures.
• Assess ITAM maturity and establish repeatable processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with security and usage policies across assets.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate stockroom audits and inventory control in NY.
