Xcel Energy is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Architecture in a hybrid-capable role. You will lead a team of architects across Customer and ERP domains, defining strategy, governance, and roadmaps to align with enterprise priorities and long-term objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory awareness, and deep experience in enterprise architecture practices. As a people leader, you will drive architectural standards, partner with executives, and guide modernization efforts across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technology, science, business or related field, or 4 years of experience.
Five years of people leadership experience.
Ten years of end-to-end service lifecycle, business process, project or product management.
Five years of strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, delivery execution, and operations.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Experience in a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing architecture team with coaching and performance management.
Define and evolve domain architectures and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Develop technology strategies and target-state architectures for assigned domains.
Govern architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures for secure, scalable solutions.
Partner with executives to shape domain strategies and drive alignment.
Support modernization and transformation across apps, data, integration, cloud, AI, and platforms.
