Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior IT Applications Engineer to join the Information Technology Custom Development Team in West Chester, OH, with consideration for Cleveland, OH.

You will lead full-stack IT development and support for web and windows apps using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies. The role emphasizes project management, problem solving, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience with Angular, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, EF, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Experience with SDLC processes and custom development.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude Code and Co-pilot.
• Strong communication skills and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and stakeholders' objectives and goals.
• Collaborate with partners, IT management, team members, and vendors to analyze requirements.
• Build relationships with customers and align priorities and expectations.
• Develop or modify applications and manage testing and deployment.
• Plan, organize, and deliver technical projects per Change Management and SDLC.
• Use AI tools for design and development of IT solutions.
• Provide timely feedback on issues and propose stability improvements.
• Occasional 24x7 on-call support for enterprise apps and subsystems.
• Drive innovation with business and support online and batch apps.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
