Job summary

Penske in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Software Engineer II - ASP.Net (Full Stack Developer) to join a diverse team. The role involves leading technical design, mentoring peers, and delivering innovative solutions for critical applications.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining and modernizing systems while collaborating with senior staff on medium to large projects. Onsite presence is required four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent software development experience.
• 8-10 years experience of appropriate programming languages depending upon the role.
• Full stack development experience with React/Angular/Vue, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.NET MVC API.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Procedures.
• 1-2 years experience with Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to develop, enhance, and support applications in a fast-paced development environment.
• Maintain and modernize existing systems while working on new applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers on development best practices and code reviews.
• Provide deliverables for medium to large projects with clean, well-documented code.
• Collaborate with leaders and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
