University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a Senior IT Application Developer to design, develop, and support School of Medicine applications, including systems for faculty affairs, finance, and research administration.

The role spans the full lifecycle from design to production support, collaborating with the Data Team, project management, security/compliance, and other developers to deliver secure, maintainable solutions. The work model is hybrid with three on-campus days per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience across full application lifecycle.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to own features end-to-end.
• Experience with secure coding and data-protection requirements (HIPAA/FERPA).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and enhance School of Medicine applications using .NET/C# and JavaScript.
• Maintain and modernize existing production applications and manage technical debt.
• Design SQL Server data models, APIs, and system integrations; perform code reviews and CI/CD activities.
• Provide advanced production support and document architecture and release procedures.
