Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz in Aurora, CO is seeking a Senior IT Application Developer to design, develop, and support School of Medicine applications, partnering with Data Team, security, and stakeholders. Hybrid work three days on campus and in-person as needed.

The role requires hands-on development, strong technical judgment, and ability to own applications from design through production support, with emphasis on secure coding and data protection).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or closely related field.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in software or web application development.
• Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance School of Medicine applications, including front-end interfaces, application logic, services, and back-end components built with .NET/C# and JavaScript.
• Maintain and enhance existing production applications, including legacy applications requiring modernization or migration.
• Design and maintain SQL Server database components, queries, stored procedures, and data models, along with RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and production support, resolving defects, performance issues, and integration failures.
