Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for our healthcare-related projects. You will work closely with product owners, clients, and development teams to ensure alignment and quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience eliciting functional requirements from stakeholders and technical staff.
• Strong ability to analyze business requirements gathered from multiple sources and perform gap analysis.
• Experience in producing written requirements documentation (e.g., process flows, use cases, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and ceremonies.
• Experience in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with product owners, clients, stakeholders, and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows.
• Proactively identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in processes, requirements, and testing.
• Ensure documentation is up to date, accurate, and aligned with project standards.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, and system validation.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, collaborating with developers as needed.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings as part of Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Validate that delivered features meet business requirements and provide seamless user experience.
