Job summary

Versant Power is seeking an IT Analyst III to support, integrate, maintain, and improve our Advanced Distribution Management System and connected Operational Technology systems in Bangor, ME. This role spans application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers, collaborating with OT, IT, cybersecurity, engineering, operations, and vendors throughout the lifecycle.

The position is an individual contributor role with no personnel management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in application support, systems integration, or operational technology.
• Experience with complex, integrated, mission-critical applications.
• Experience troubleshooting across application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, or significant technical changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot ADMS and related operational applications.
• Support integrations between ADMS and connected systems (OMS, GIS, SCADA).
• Monitor interfaces, APIs, and data exchanges; manage data integrity and dependencies.
• Develop and execute testing plans (functional, integration, regression, operational).
• Coordinate changes, patches, upgrades, deployments across environments.
• Maintain system diagrams, data flows, configurations, and change records.
• Participate in on-call support, incident response, and disaster recovery.
