Sentara Health is looking for an IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Analyst!

Responsibilities

1. Managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
2. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
3. Handling difficult and complex problems.

Qualifications

Education:

• Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

Certifications / Licensure:

• No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Experience:

• Advanced SQL skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (5+ years).
• Requirements gathering.
• Ability to create technical specifications.
• Experience working with large datasets, preferably loading big data into databases.
• JIRA experience (2+ years).
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and handle many requests simultaneously.
