Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking an Issue Management Senior Analyst to lead the Enterprise Issue Management Program (IMP) execution and continuous improvement. This role is the primary point of contact for issue management activities, ensuring governance and Archer-based deployment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Finance/Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Risk Management and/or Internal Audit in banking preferred; prior management/supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise issue management lifecycle practices.
• Experience with issue intake, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and closure validation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue lifecycle management: intake, classification, tracking, reporting.
• Provide program guidance, standards & training to promote consistent execution.
• Quality control & data integrity: ensure accurate Archer data and validated actions.
• Reporting infrastructure: support Archer and Power BI dashboards and templates.
• Governance reporting & escalation: monitor aging, escalations, and governance reporting.
• Archer system support & enhancements: collaborate with admins and tech teams on workflows and changes.
