Job summary

Peraton seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for an IC mission in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The role requires a strong background in information assurance, extensive ISSO/ISSE experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

You will oversee IA policy enforcement, risk analysis, and security assessments across programs and enclaves. The ideal candidate will have a CISSP or willingness to obtain, a related Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum of fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSO/ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• CISSP certification or willingness to obtain is required prior to start.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or four (4) years substituted for degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
• Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards and regulations and recommend mitigations.
• Provide security planning, risk analysis, and risk management; recommend system-level solutions to security requirements.
• Provide configuration management for information systems security software and hardware and manage changes and assess security impact.
