Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Dayton, Ohio. The candidate will maintain the security posture of DoD information systems, collaborate with ISSM and ISO, and manage day-to-day security operations for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.

Requirements include TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, 2+ years of related experience, and IAT Level II/IAM Level II within 6 months of hire. Travel up to 25% and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related area with 2+ years of experience, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of DoD security requirements and processes, including SAP, SCI, and TS/SCI considerations.
• Experience in information system security operations and authorization packages.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in meeting duties and responsibilities.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media are in place.
• Notify ISSM of changes affecting authorization determinations.
• Conduct periodic reviews for security compliance and authorization status.
• Coordinate changes to hardware/software with ISSM and AO/DAO.
• Monitor recovery processes to ensure security features function correctly.
• Document and maintain security-related records and audits.
