Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security planning and compliance for national security systems at the Dulles, VA site. The role involves reviewing architectures, developing security artifacts, and ensuring lifecycle cybersecurity integration across programs.

Required: active TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor’s in a related field, and 10+ years of experience; ability to brief diverse audiences; knowledge of RMF/NIST frameworks and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Support system owners and project managers through cybersecurity approval and compliance processes.

• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the system lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts.
• Assess system risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to engineers and non-technical partners.
• Support security reviews, audits, and accreditation activities.
