Job summary

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a seasoned Information Systems Security Officer to lead RMF and security operations for mission-critical IT at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu. You will own RMF lifecycle, coordinate risk mitigations, and guide the team in protecting critical DoD assets across the Pacific theater.

The role requires DoD protocol fluency, strong communication, and the ability to deliver executive-level security insights in high-stakes environments.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum six years of cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, or RMF-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53r5, RMF, EO 14028, and M-22-09.
• Experience with eMASS and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ISSM in forming and maintaining an information security program and policies.
• Establish and maintain secure systems for classified processing and manage security auditing.
• Develop and supervise guidelines for operational information system security.
• Manage eMASS packages with security authorizations.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and reviews of information system security.
• Contribute expertise to respond to security incidents and protect assets.
• Apply ACAS and STIG requirements, reviewing and updating quarterly.
• Ensure configuration management for approved hardware and software.
• Engage external stakeholders for interconnection requests.
• Maintain knowledge of system functions, security policies, and safeguards.
