Job summary

OneZero Solutions, LLC is seeking a DHS Information System Security Officer II to support DHS missions in the NCR area. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies for IT systems and RMF processes to achieve ATO.

The candidate will oversee security assessments, incident response, and risk management, mentoring ISSO II staff. A TS/SCI clearance and 7+ years in DoD/Federal roles are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an ISSO within DoD/Federal government.
• Experience with DoD STIG, NIST CSF, FISMA, RMF, and DHS controls.
• Familiar with vulnerability scanning, incident response, and risk management.
• OpenRMF experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies for DHS IT systems and networks.
• Oversee security assessments, audits, and vulnerability management programs.
• Lead security incident investigations and remediation efforts.
• Develop security awareness and training programs for DHS personnel.
• Partner with IT teams to integrate security controls into system development.
