Job summary

OneZero Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior DHS Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security policy development, risk assessments, and RMF/ATO processes for DHS IT systems. You will collaborate with IT teams, monitor incidents, and drive security training across DHS programs.

Qualifications include 12+ years as an ISSO in government, strong knowledge of NIST RMF, and relevant certifications. TS/SCI clearance desired; parking assistance may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• 12+ years ISSO experience in DoD/Federal Government.
• IC or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, encryption, and incident response.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, FISMA, RMF, and DoD IA controls.
• OpenRMF experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies for DHS IT systems.
• Conduct security assessments and audits, identify vulnerabilities, and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor security events and incidents, investigate and mitigate risks.
• Manage security awareness and training programs for DHS personnel.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into development processes.
• Stay current with evolving threats and industry best practices.
• Document security policies, procedures, and activities.
