Job summary

Tria Federal is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team. The ISSO will research, develop, implement, and review security controls to protect information and ensure authorization to operate, with emphasis on infrastructure devices and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience, DHS Public Trust familiarity, and strong knowledge of NIST RMF and ATO processes. Onsite work at the customer HQ in Washington, DC 1–2 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Familiar with DHS Public Trust requirements.
• Experience creating ATO packages and SSPs.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF and STIGs.
• Ability to communicate security status clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Security Assessment and obtain ATO per NIST SP 800-37 Rev. 2.
• Maintain ATO and security documentation for assigned systems.
• Prepare and tailor CSAM-based security controls and SSP.
• Produce POA&M with milestones for non-compliant controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage cybersecurity risk.
