Job summary

Leidos in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior ISSO to lead information systems security for a large software program. Responsibilities include enforcing security policies, conducting threat analyses, maintaining SSPs, and coordinating with the ISSM to sustain IA posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 12 years of relevant experience, degree substitutions allowed.
• TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• Minimum 10 years as ISSO, independently or in teams securing operations.
• At least 5 years using tools to support IAVA management.
• At least 5 years maintaining SSPs and security documentation.
• Experience with security evaluations of software systems or architectures.

Responsibilities

• Support implementing and enforcing information systems security policies and standards.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for multiple information types.
• Manage Configuration Management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection, reporting, and remediation practices.
• Maintain records of hardware and software assets and upgrades.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Provide support to ISSM for maintaining IA posture of systems/enclaves.
• Develop documentation for Certification & Accreditation per policy.
• Coordinate and implement security policies across large programs.
