Job summary

gTANGIBLE Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II to ensure the security posture of an information system. The role collaborates with the ISSM and ISO to manage day-to-day security operations, including SAR/authorization packages and SAP/SCI activities.

The successful candidate will have a DoD 8570.01-M II/IAM II certification path, SAP experience, and the ability to work in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–5 years related experience.
• Experience in RMF packages.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M II / IAM II within 6 months of hire.
• SAP experience required.
• Must regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop physical or logical topologies for a system.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages.
• Ensure procedures for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying hardware/media.
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features are restored.
• Ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
• Ensure audit records are collected and reviewed.
• Attend required technical and security training.
• Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.
