Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD and IC programs. You will protect classified systems, maintain cybersecurity compliance, and work with government stakeholders to ensure RMF alignment and policy adherence.

The role requires day-to-day cybersecurity operations, security assessments, and system authorization activities across lifecycle phases, with emphasis on planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Minimum 5 years as ISSO for DoD/IC programs.
• Experience IA/cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and RMF.
• Familiarity with RMF/OA processes, NIST CNSS standards, and DoD security requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; substitution rules apply.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for assigned information systems and support ISSM to maintain security posture.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC security requirements and RMF guidance.
• Plan, implement, and enforce security policies across systems/projects.
• Maintain security documentation (SSPs, SARs, RARs, RMF packages).
• Coordinate with admins, engineers, and government reps to resolve issues.
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Assist in awareness initiatives and cybersecurity best practices.
